Buster Keaton in SHERLOCK Jr.
Buster Keaton blurs the line between dreams and reality in Sherlock Jr., one of the most inventive comedies ever made. Keaton plays a humble movie projectionist who imagines himself as a daring detective and quite literally steps into the film he is watching. What follows is a whirlwind of stunts, illusions, and visual tricks that still feel magical a century later. Equal parts romance, slapstick, and cinematic wizardry, Sherlock Jr. is a reminder of just how bold and funny early film could be, and why it is still best experienced with an audience.

Charlie Chaplin's
CITY LIGHTS
Charlie Chaplin’s City Lights is a perfect blend of comedy and heartbreak, often hailed as one of the greatest films ever made. Chaplin’s Little Tramp falls for a blind flower girl and sets out to help her, leading to some of the funniest and most tender moments in silent cinema.
With its graceful slapstick, beautifully timed gags, and one of the most emotional endings in movie history, City Lights shows why Chaplin’s mix of humor and humanity continues to captivate audiences nearly a century later.

Alfred Hitchcock's
The Lodger
Alfred Hitchcock’s The Lodger (1927) is a landmark in early British cinema and a cornerstone of the suspense genre. Inspired by the real-life Jack the Ripper murders, the film follows a mysterious lodger whose presence coincides with a series of chilling killings in London. Hitchcock’s innovative use of shadow, camera angles, and suspenseful pacing helped establish the visual and narrative techniques that would define his career. A masterful blend of mystery, romance, and psychological tension, The Lodger remains a thrilling window into both 1920s London and the early genius of one of cinema’s greatest directors.
